Den of Vipers Attacks Gay Penguins

This Sunday in pulpits ears were burned with righteous anger.
There are an array of monsters that frighten us. Look at the world around perpetually threatened by war, famine, disease, death, destruction,  chaos, child abuse, sexual violence, poverty, hunger, financial terrorism. The list of global triggers for our fears is seemingly endless.

Even in our daily lives away from the headlines and fantasy violence of our screens we cannot escape the emotional violence of our lives.

Yet in spite of these many personal and global devils we must suspend belief. As the winter solstice approaches and a new year dawns, none of this matters.

Save thy righteous anger not for the Den of Vipers who foul their deeds with sanctimonious hearts or the Den of Vipers that preyed upon children and created a web of shadows. No. Save thy righteous anger for this government. We condemn them not for crushing the poor and infirm but for making a mockery of institutionalised servitude by allowing Gay Penguins to get Married.

A reading;
"A certain man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and he fell among robbers, who both stripped him and beat him, and departed, leaving him half dead. By chance a certain priest was going down that way. When he saw him, he passed by on the other side. In the same way a Levite also, when he came to the place, and saw him, passed by on the other side. But a certain [Gay] Samaritan, as he travelled, came where he was. When he saw him, he was moved with compassion, came to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. He set him on his own animal, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him. On the next day, when he departed, he took out two denarii, and gave them to the host, and said to him, 'Take care of him. Whatever you spend beyond that, I will repay you when I return.' Now which of these three do you think seemed to be a neighbour to him who fell among the robbers?"
He said, "He who showed mercy on him. — Luke 10:30–37, World English Bible

Quite enjoyed the irony in the parable from updated bible. My curiosity for such reading petered out. Sensitive men sure cop shit for showing contempt for the herd mentality when they follow their instinct and act from the heart. You're right,of course,the intrinsically corrupt and weak Liberals spoil whatever they touch, have few valid arguments on which to win an election, and rely on supposition and guesswork. One does that when one has no say, much like bloggers and tweeters.
I've made the hashtag #lastchancetony as a reminder to opp. front benchers of the feather-duster mode that hangs, Damocles-like, above the backbench Parliamentry seats of losers. This dispicable specie of Australia Liberal dismiss a court ruling to keep an issue simmering till next election. The Labor Govt goes well by world standards but will join the Europe shit-heap when China fucks-up.
I was unhappy when Gillard shafted Rudd and became PM, but unhappier still when so many of her colleagues deserted her and became seemingly an adjunct of the opposition. Whether she knows or cares, I support her on twitter, but not at the ballot box where the Secular Party, if I can find them on the Senate ticket, gets my nod.
Human nature and pride have done it since year one, but if only these factions could steady the reins till after the election before they draw the knives.
Be 'appy.

Les,

Twenty years ago in the decaying catacombs of justice there were no souls;

The warring factions are seething with wrath,These dastardly demons using limbs of the law,To yield their batons of nemesis to gain,Money, power, fortune and fame,So laden with scum their corporate bath,Once rich and so pure now written to core,Immersing avarous lawyers within its deep bane,An equitable slut in all but name.

As with most aspects of law, finding souls is not a rewarding experience. Those few with hearts soon have themselves covered in shit. Pigs have more uses.
